Are you a young Indigenous person who would like to share your experiences connecting to your ancestral languages, cultures, and lands?

If so, we want you to send us an Expression of Interest! Proposed stories can be essays, short fiction, poetry, photo essays, videos, podcast scripts, music, spoken word, and artwork.

The Indigenous Youth Storytellers Circle is an ongoing Terralingua project that collects and publishes personal stories from young Indigenous people. To date, we’ve published 44 stories from young Indigenous people all around the world!

They’ve written stories about:

    • reaffirming their cultural identity
    • breathing new life into their ancestral languages
    • reconnecting with traditional knowledge and practices, values, and ways of life
    • reclaiming ancestral links with the land

Learn all about the Call for Stories and send us your Expression of Interest. The deadline for your Expression of Interest is September 1st!
